Keoki Sand Music Co. is operated by Diane Koshi, choral conductor, music educator, and record producer. Diane has been active in the field of music education and music industry in Hawaii for over 30 years.
Keoki Sand Music Co. specializes in voice, keyboard, and ukulele instruction. Diane is experienced with varying levels of ability and a wide span of ages. She has been teaching and producing music in Hawaii for over thirty years. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance as well as certifications in the Kodály Approach, Orff Schulwerk, Music Mind Games, and Drums Alive! She is a member of ACDA, OAKE, HOSA, NAfME, HMEA, and is a life member of SAI. Diane has produced Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning recordings for The Mountain Apple Company, Hula Records, Hawaii Calls, and 'Ohana Records.
Diane is the music director of Luminaria, an ensemble of HI Arts Lab, founder and artistic director of La Sorellanza, a community chorus for women. She founded and directed The Honolulu Madrigal Quartet and Madrigal Chamber Quartet.
At Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, she directed various ensembles and prepared children's choruses for Hawaii Opera Theater's mainstage productions. She taught at Mid-Pacific Institute and St. Andrew's Priory School for Girls. Her students have sung in ACDA National and Divisional Honor Choirs as well as OAKE National Honor Choirs. Diane has also toured with her choirs to the Neighbor Islands, Oregon, Japan, China, Netherlands, Switzerland, England, France, and Italy.
